Jango by jagged-r0cks Jango by jagged-r0cks
Muahaha, ~lordgibby's and my collab is finally COMPLETE! Only us will know why it is called Jango. Its an awsome name otherwise. In the end we actully couldnt decide how to put the two together, so we submitted two differenttrasnitions. His can be viewed here: [link]

His is definately better with respect to the trasition; its realistic. I guess i just liked this probably because i rendered the image with that sky and im also a sucker for blue :). Well, either way please comment on which you like better, but overall i think ~lordgibby did WAY more and impressive work than i did. So, cheers to Him!

Anyways- the real description. This came out much, much better than i expected. As you have probably realized i was going to something close to ^alyn's Nineclouds render. Secondly, you have also probably realized it came out much worse. :P (well, thats whatcha get for competing with alyn ^^). Overall, Gibby's part was spectacular. The original size he gave me for his part was 3000 x 3000 pixels. Fucking huge. The planetary texture is amazing, with realistic clouds and an awsome terrain, and the nebula is probably the best ive seen him do. This image here is shown 50% of the original size of the complete image, and probably around 37% the width of the original part he gave me. (His collab part was bigger than my render). So, again, i cant give enough credit to ~lordgibby, and i am honored to have part of him in my gallery. Thanks for viewing!

The texture and lighting on the planets cam eout nicely, and the water looks superb !

Not too crazy about the terrain though, that green should be duller, or perhaps even brown or dark grey. That could easily be done in Photoshop. Of course, if You wanted a fresh, lush scene, then just leave it.

Nice effort put into it. It's not rough on the eyes and I actually really dig the clarity :)

Really, really, really nice. I just love the sky, the planet, the moon, the other moon, the stars...
The island (mountain?). It doesn`t look like an integral part of the surface.
Still, it`s a masterpiece.

I love the planet textures and clouds. The water is fantastic, too. Only thing that detracts is the "ridge-ness" of the mountain. Overall very well done

this looks great mate ... you made some impresive work both of you this deserves a fav for sure but you could have added some soft focus on the water to remove the grainy look of the water ... anyway :+fav:

Absolutely amazing, inspired, beautiful. :wow: I am blown away by the show of skill in this, on both your parts. I personally like yours a LOT better, but then again I am a sucker for blue too. The island could use a bit more work to look realistic on a closeup view, but the sky is definately amazing. The terragen on the planet couldnt be more perfect, and the nebulae are beautiful. Excellent work on the water, and on combining so excellently such a beautiful sky with such an awe-inspiring waterscape. Great job!

It looks awesome :). The only thing that bothers me is that the water seems to end.. short? I don't know how to describe it ^^; but it still looks really great, I can't stop looking at the sky <3.

I really like the planet and the Nebula in the back :D But the terragen(?) work on the bottom seems a bit bland :( Maybe some clouds or something could spice it up :)

Great work to both of you! :D I think the bottom part could be improved, I don't really like the plain blue sky and I think the materials on the land stand out too much and look too, for lack of a better term, "tacky."

Still, well done, keep it coming!

Ooh, very nice! Especially the water, very realistic!
The only complaint I have is the mountain. It looks sort of fake compared to the other parts of the picture.
Maybe it's just me. ^^;
