Hey. I didn't really put much time at all into this work. I think i couldv'e easily given both renders some pretty awesome postwork, but i simply did the color-correcting and contrast essentials with photoshop. The rest is simply my first raw work attempt at Terragen 2 (of course its going to be an above-cloud piece!) Its an OK first try, although the night didnt come out as well i had hoped. Does anybody know how to change the redsky decay color without altering the bluesky color? Its driving me nuts!
So, a little cheers to let you all know i havnt died . I really just have no time to do anything cool during school. Sorry, maybe ill be able to pop out a few cool renders with my trying all the quintessential scenes (beach, grass-scape, etc)
Thanks for viewing!
P.S. Im sorry this is a lame and not up to par piece of work to people who have been expecting more pieces from me for like, 5 months, especially after a DD, but im sorry. I do most of my best work during the summer. I have neither the time nor energy to get really into pieces during the year. Hopefully thatll all change at college . I still lurk around a ton and check new deviations every day and am a tad active, even if i dont show it . Thanks the for support
Actually, the night-time one looks more realistic. The mountains fit that one better than they fit the sunrise one. The Sunrise one could have some orange added into the mountains.
Yeah, I like how you said "of course its going to be an above-cloud piece" I see that a lot in TG2 artists. I can't wait until the TG2 generation evolves into the point where they can manage those towering Cumulonimbus clouds, breaking though all other layers...that would make a dramatic sky !
The red sky effects the blue sky.
It would take a very skilled hand to make your request work!
Good luck, I do believe you have the talent to pull it of thou!

That sounds EXACTLY like my situation.
cool TG2 piece, it definitely has a lot of power, but too much for my measley 256mb or RAM to handle. I wish they were both at the same POV, but they still look good, especially that moon (is that TG2 as well!?)
it's nice. especially for a first try on tg2. it takes time to get used to a new program, so i wouldn't expect anything spectacular for atleast a few weeks of it and besides, i was watching u before u were the "in" thing, i enjoy ur "crappier" works too
